i have a prayer request. my husband of 14 yrs this april, walked out on my daughter and i 6 months ago. he was having an affair with a girl my oldest daughters age. he moved out of our house, and at first agreed to counseling, which he quickly canceled. even tho he is no longer with this woman, he still filed for divorce and i was served feb 15, happy valentines day. i know its too late for our relationship, and its difficult but im coming to terms with that, my daughter on the other hand is having problems. i have taken her to a counselor, we have a wkly appt now. please pray this goes well, and that we will be taken care of. im disabled, fighting for disability, just got served with foreclosure papers 2 days ago. im scared, im sad, im hurt. and am not sure where we will get groceries next wk. some days its so hard just to get out of bed. i would really like the pain to stop. please pray for that as well. thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteFirst I am praying for all the prayer requests. Second, thank you and God Bless.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are going to try and quit smoking again. I can't explain the horrid pain that goes with that. If feels so empty. Please pray that we overcome, are completely free from the desire and anything you are led to pray about.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.
God Bless you with quitting. I quit a little over two years ago. It was hard!! I did it cold turkey. Just keep praying and asking God for strength. Praying for you also.
Deletemy favorite is proverbs 27:11-
ReplyDeleteBe wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, that I may make a reply to him that is taunting me.
Corinthians 13:4-13 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known. So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many more needy people than my family, but if you could find it in your heart to add me and my husband to your list I would hug you!
